Technical Environment
Zhongfu Group Engineering Technology Research Institute was established by Henan Zhongfu Group in cooperation with Chongqing University, East China University of Science and Technology, Henan University of Technology, Jiaozuo Academy of Industrial Technology, etc.
1. Goals and Tasks
The Institute insists on leading the modern environmental protection industry with scientific and technological innovation, and is committed to creating an internationally leading green and environmentally friendly high-end water purification material and a powerful lithium battery recycling industry base.
2. Organizational Structure
The Institute has a research center, an inspection center, a project incubation center, a customer technical service center, an intelligence and strategic research center, and a school-enterprise cooperation expert selection and service center.
3. Team and members
Relying on the Henan Provincial Inorganic Polymer Water Treatment Materials Engineering Technology Research Center, two R&D teams have been established: green preparation and application of water treatment materials and recycling and recycling of all components of lithium batteries.
1). Green preparation and application team of water treatment materials
The team members include 2 experts who enjoy "special government allowances from the State Council"; 4 members of the Water Treatment Agent Sub-Technical Committee of the National Chemical Standardization Technical Committee, and more than 20 young R&D backbones.
2). Lithium battery full component recovery and recycling team
3 senior industry experts, 3 doctoral (postgraduate) graduates, and more than 20 young R&D backbones.
4. Principles and basis for determining R&D topics
1). Serving enterprises to reduce costs and increase efficiency: upgrading and transforming production processes and technologies
2). Improving product competitiveness: expanding the functions of existing products and expanding application areas

4). Undertaking corporate social responsibility: targeting industry difficulties and pain points
5. Current (cooperative) R&D topics
1). Development of new polyaluminum production process. Industrial waste acids from other enterprises in the park are generally discharged after neutralization treatment. The development of new processes uses the industrial waste acids of the above-mentioned enterprises as production raw materials, which not only reduces their waste acid disposal costs and pollution emissions, but also opens up new raw material sources for the company, greatly reducing production costs and achieving a win-win effect.
2). In response to the problem of large amounts of sludge in sewage treatment, research and development of harmless disposal and resource utilization of sludge.
3). In response to the prominent environmental impact of bulk solid waste, we jointly developed "red mud polyaluminum sulfate iron" and "coal gangue polyaluminum chloride" with Henan University of Technology and Taiyuan University of Technology.
4). In order to continuously promote the green and low-carbon development of the new energy vehicle industry throughout its life cycle, we built a green recycling production line for retired power batteries, which can process 30,000 tons of power batteries per year, regenerate 3,000 tons of battery-grade lithium carbonate per year and 15,000 tons of battery-grade iron phosphate per year, and realize the green recycling of all components of Li, Fe, P, and C.
